1) Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give your rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for you souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
2) Psalms 76:26(Asaph)
My flesh and my heart may fail. but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. — Our thirst for God may increase when we see the sinfulness of people around us or when we gain a new awareness of our own sin and need for Him.
3) John 15:13
Jesus said, "Greater Love has no one than this,than to lay down one's life for his friends"
4) Roman 5:3-5
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
5) Psalms 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD ,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you-
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
6) Psalms 18:4-5
The cords of death entangled me;
the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of the grave coiled around me;
the snares of death confronted me.
7) Psalms 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
8) 2 Timothy 4:6-7
Fought the Good fight, Finish the race( Never give up, Stay in) and kept the faith.
9) Roman 5:1-5.
- ... It leaves us wholly dependent on Him.
Tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
10) Psalms 54: 3
- ... Trusting God's faithfulness dispels our fearfulness.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
11) Philippians 1:21
- Knowing God gives meaningg to life; Obeying God gives purpose to life.
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
12) Psalms 103 — A psalm of David.
- God Grace, Forgiveness & Compassion.
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass,
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD's love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children's children-
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the LORD, O my soul.
13) Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the lord and not to men.
14) Luke 11:9
Ask, and it will be given to you.
15) Hebrew 11:1
Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
- God's promises are treasures wait^g to be discovered.
16) John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
17) Psalm 23 — A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
18) Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
19) 1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
20) Matthew 11 - In time of weariness
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened(Heavy Laden), and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
21) 2 Corinthian 12 - In our weakess hour-Hopelessness
8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.
9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
22) Roman 5
3 Not only so, but we° also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
23) Roman 6
20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.
21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!
22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
24) Matthew 6 - what lies ahead?
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life°?
28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?'
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
25) 2 Timothy 4 - In time of Bereavement
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
26) Revelation 7 - In time of Bereavement
10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
"Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
12 saying:
"Amen! Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!"
16 Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them,
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;
he will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
27) Matthew 7 - Judging others
1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
4 How can you say to your brother, `Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
28) Psalms 8 - Value of a man/woman
- In our world, diamonds are prized for their rarity, beauty, and durability, and we often hear it said, “Diamonds are forever.” But God isn’t enamored with diamonds. To Him there is something far more precious.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings°
and crowned him with glory and honor. 29) Roman 8 - More Than Conquerors
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1. God will Make a Way — Don Moen
God will Make a Way, where there seems to be no Way. HE works in ways we cannot see, HE will make a way for me.
2. Seven "Ones", Ephesians 4:4-6 — Dave Branon
One body—we are a single family unified for one purpose
One Spirit—we all have the Spirit as our power source
One hope—we all look forward to the same future
One Lord—we all trust the same Person in charge
One faith—we all trust Jesus' sacrifice for our salvation
One baptism—we all have a single identity
One God and Father—we all share the same source of our existence
What a difference it would make if we all could dwell on those seven "ones."
3. The mind of Jesus Christ — Lovingly set aside;
- A heavenly throne for an earthly manger.
- Majestic splendor for suffering and shame.
- The rights of the Son for the place of a slave.
- The regalia of glory for the robes of humanity.
4. Coming togetherComing together is a start; keeping together is progress; working together is success.
5. On education — Chin Hing lamented on 11.35p, 12.08.2004
Education in principal extract and honed survivor instinct. The phrase "You give a fish, it will last a day. You teach them to fish, it will feed a lifetime"
uphold the core foundation. Educator are builder of tomorrow leader. Profiteer instill greed upon these leader.
6. Wrinkle of Age — Myron Taylor wrote:
"Time may wrinkle the skin, but worry, doubt, hate, and the loss of ideals wrinkle the soul."
7. The cycle of faith and doubt — Herb Vander Lugt
A vocation, a marriage, and a relationship to Jesus generally begin with a honeymoon period; then enter a time during which the realities of life gradually replace the early building stage. This often leads into a time marked by varying degrees of disillusionment and discontent.
When we're in a crossroad of Decision-Making:-
At work, one can quit or continue as disgruntled worker or see the problems through.
In marriage, one can escape by divorce or continue in a lacklustre relationship or set about to mend the marriage.
In christian life, one can drop out or
coutinue as an unhappy and defeated believer or determine to work through the difficulties.
8. Weathering Life Storm — Christ’s victory
— God is a safe dwelling place in life's storms.
How often we too face situations that seem overwhelming and impossible. It’s in those times that we need to find our confidence in Jesus. Our first instinct may be to back away in fear. But that’s exactly when we need to look to Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith” (Heb. 12:2), who will raise His nail-scarred hand and say, “Stay with it. Run the race. I’ve run it before you, and in My power you can win. You can do it!”
Christ’s victory in the past gives courage for the present and hope for the future.

It’s better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and despair.
Our afflictions are not designed to break us but to bring us to God.
9. Passion of Jesus Christ — Isaiah 53:5
— He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.
Jesus being savagely whipped by a soldier. As the cruel scourge came down upon Christ's back, the onlooker shuddered, for the terrible cords left ugly, gaping wounds upon His bleeding, swollen body. When the one wielding the lash raised his arm to strike the Lord again, the man rushed forward to stop him. As he did, the soldier turned, and the dreamer was startled to see his own face!
10. Miracle — Excerpt from The Prince of Egypt Movie
In this time of fear, When prayer so often proved in vain,
Hope seemed like the summer birds,
Too swiftly flown away,
Our afflictions are not designed to break us but to bring us to God.

10. Miracle — Excerpt from The Prince of Egypt Movie
In this time of fear, When prayer so often proved in vain,
Hope seemed like the summer birds,
Too swiftly flown away,
There can be miracles, when you believe,
Though hope is frail, It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles, You can acheive
When you believe, Somehow you will,
when you believe
11. What is Worthy of honour — Excerpt from The Prince of Egypt Movie
A Single Thread in a Tapestry, Though its Colour brightly Shine,
Can never see its purpose,
In a pattern of the grand design
And the stone that sits on the very top, Of the mountain's mighty face,
Does it think it's more important, Than the stones that form the base
So how can you see what your life is worth, Or where your value lies
You can never see through the eyes of man, You must look at your life through heaven's eyes
A lake of gold in the desert sand
Is less than a cool, fresh spring
And to one lost sheep a shepherd boy
Is greater than the richest king
If a man lose everything he owns
Has he truly lost his worth
Or is it the beginning
Of a new and brighter birth
So how do you measure the worth of a man, In wealth or strength or size
In how much he gained or how much he gave
The answer will come to him who tries
To look at his life through heaven's eyes
And that's why we share all we have with you, Though there's litte to be found, When all you've got is nothing,
There's a lot to go around
No life can escape being blown about
By the winds of change and chance
And tough you never know all the steps, You must learn to join the dance
So how do you judge what a man is worth
By what he builds or buys
You can never see with your eyes on earth, Look through heaven's eyes, Look at your life through heaven's eyes.
12. Season wishes for peace, charity — Words of Wisdom from the late Mother Teresa's, 27.08.1910-05.09. 1997.
Which is the best day in Life? Today.
What is the Greatest blunder? Forsaking oneself.
What is the Greatest defeat? Despair
What makes one feel the happiest? Helping others.
What is the most valuable present? Forgiveness.
What is the shortest route? Straight route.
What is the most blessed policy? Smile.
What is the biggest obstacle? Fear.
What is the root of all evils? Selfishness.
What is the most preferred need? Communications.
What is the worst feeling? Hatred.
What is the indispensable? Family.
What is the feeling that makes one the happiest? Inner peace.
What is the most beautiful in the world? Loye.
13. Human Fallacy ie, Bondage to sin, Roman 7:14-17 — St. Paul
We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.
14. Knowing God Personally — Simpson
Once it was the blessing, now it is the Lord;
Once it was the feeling, now it is His Word;
Once His gift I wanted, now the Giver own;
Once I sought for healing, now Himself alone.
15. Marriage philosophyEven teeth bite the tongue; what more with husband & wife. Take the good, remove the bad, it will lead to harmony.
16. Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi — A powerful model of this longing to bring positive change in a hurting world:
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
17. A Sin By Any Other Name
Today, it is popular to call sin by more acceptable names. But using euphemisms for offenses against God will only weaken our resistance and trivialize sin’s harmfulness to us. Sin was not just “an error of judgment.” Nor was it a mere “slip of the tongue” or an “indiscretion” in a “moment of weakness.” Sin as it is was—a serious offense against the Lord—and must not play down the gravity of the offense.
18. Life destiny — Concerns of what was and what would be.
There's a saying "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery; But, today is a Gift. That's why it is call The present.
19. Breaking Point — Take for Granted or Be Gratitute
1 Thessalonians,
(5:16) Be joyful always;
(5:17) pray continually;
(5:18) give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
20. Changing the WorldMaking Effort is good; But, Where the effort is made will change our life.
- Coming to Christ is the begining.
Message remain unchange. But, Method of Doing it varies.
21. Growing Through Grief — (Psalms 119:67,71).
Grief changes our perspective on life. It is trite but true that how we deal with sorrow will make us either bitter or better.
22. Handle Conflict
At the heart of all conflict is a selfish heart.
23. A Timely Word — Ephesians 4:17-32
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
Words are like that. They are powerful instruments for good or for ill. We can use words in destructive ways, or we can use words in constructive way and encourage.
24. Influence Of Godly Mom's — Susannah Wesley spent one hour each day praying for her 17 children. In addition, she took each child aside for a full hour every week to discuss spiritual matters with him or her.
Here are a few rules she followed in training her children: Subdue self-will in a child and work together with God. Teach him to pray as soon as he can speak. Give him nothing he cries for and only what is good for him if he asks for it politely. To prevent lying, punish no fault that is freely confessed, but never allow a rebellious, sinful act to go unchecked. Commend and reward good behavior. Strictly observe all promises you have made to your child.
25. SPEM praying — Praying for spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Scripture illustrates God’s care in each of these areas.
Spiritual: Jesus prayed for His disciples: “Sanctify them by Your truth” (John 17:17). Truth leads to spiritual understanding, eliminating confusion.
Physical: Peter had a physical need—release from jail. His friends prayed—and he got out (Acts 12:1-11). In God’s care we find security and rest (Ps. 16:9).
Emotional: Often the psalmists asked God for relief from distress (4:1; 18:6; 107:6-7). He brings hope.
Mental: Insight and wisdom are promised for those who cry out to God (Prov. 2:3-6; James 1:5-7). Through prayer and reading His Word, the peace of God can be found.
26. Saint Theresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
Dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
27. Day of days — thank God for seeing me through that day of days . . . .
Lord, the trials we face at times seem too much to bear. We’re grateful, though, for the reminders in Your Word that You will stay by our side and help us endure till You call us Home. Amen.
First, I said, we must recognize God’s sovereignty. Psalm 139:16 reminds us that life is the exact length God intended. Second, I asked the church never to forget her family. Whether it’s 2 months or 5 years later, the family will never “get over” losing Kristin.
In every desert of despair God has an oasis of comfort.
28. Qing Ming
It is a time to express grief for lost relatives. Customs include grooming gravesites and taking walks with loved ones in the countryside.
Legend has it that it began when a youth’s rude and foolish behavior resulted in the death of his mother. So he decided that henceforth he would visit her grave every year to remember what she had done for him. Sadly, it was only after her death that he remembered her.
29. The cross of Christ — (John 3:16, For God so loved the world that HE gave HIS one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life).

God took the worst deed of history and turned it into the greatest victory.

Life is a great teacher, and God is the Greatest Teacher.
Death is not a burden. Living is. Those who wish for death must learn how to live. Paradoxically but true, to live well we must learn how to die. Then the fear dissipates and there is life again, like the rays of the sun after the storm.
A little love, a little kindness, some tenderness - that's all it takes. It's not demanding but it goes a long, long way to bring joy to the world. And to those who are burdened, take comfort "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)"
33. Master Designer — Dennis Fisher, ODB Contributor
When the great physicist Albert Einstein was asked if he believed in God, he responded: “We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. . . . We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.” Although Einstein marveled at the design he saw in nature, he did not believe in a personal Creator. Yet, he does believe there's a Master Designer. When struggling in our beliefs, look upon the stars tonight. In the sky is crafted an amazing road sign pointing to the Designer behind the design.
34. Life Perspective Comparison — Miller, ODB Contributor
It seems there are two kinds of people in this world: those who have an eternal perspective and those who are preoccupied with the present.
One is absorbed with the permanent; the other with the passing. One stores up treasure in heaven; the other accumulates it here on earth. One stays with a challenging marriage because this isn’t all there is; another looks for happiness in another mate, believing this life is all there is. One is willing to suffer poverty, hunger, indignity, and shame because of “the glory which shall be revealed” (Rom. 8:18); another believes that happiness is being rich and famous. It’s all a matter of perspective.
35. Understand One Another— David H. Roper, ODB Contributor
One of the best ways for spouses love each other is the attitude of understanding. It is imperative for a husband to “dwell with [his wife] with understanding” and vice versa. Everyone whether married or single, longs to be understood by others at the deepest possible level. We’re born with that need, and we never seem to outgrow it.
It’s feeble avoidance to say we can’t understand one another. We can and we must. It takes time—time spent in one another’s presence asking questions, listening intently and asking again. It’s as simple and as difficult as that. No one, of course, can fully plumb the mystery of another person’s heart, but we can learn something new every day. The wise man of Proverbs called understanding “a wellspring of life” (16:22), a deep source of wisdom to all who seek it.
Nurturing understanding takes time—one of the most precious gifts we can give to others. How we choose to spend our time is the surest indicator of how much we care for those we love.
36. Be thankful for everything— Julie Ackerman Link, ODB Contributor
—Retrospective on gratitude.
We need not be thankful for the bad choices someone makes, but we can be thankful in the circumstances because God can use the resulting difficulties for good.
A Story was told about the time St. Paul was imprisoned with Onesimus, a runaway slave. He certainly didn’t have to give thanks for his bad situation. Yet his letter is full of gratitude because he knew that God was using it for good. Onesimus had become something more than a slave; he was now a beloved brother in the Lord.
Knowing that God can use all things for good is more than enough reason to give thanks in everything. Giving thanks in difficult circumstances is a small detail that makes a big difference.
Bottom Line: God has not promised to keep us from life’s storms, but He will keep us through them.

Life Philosophy
Don’t Quit
When thing goes wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you are trudging seems all up hill;
When funds are low and debts are high,
And you want to smile but you had to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must but don’t quit.
Life is queer with its’ twist and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns;
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up! Though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to faint and struggling man;
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor’s cup;
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tent of the clouds of doubts;
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems far;
So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.

Dear friends,
Please do not believe the call from 03-2178 8888 xxxx Customer Service Hotline.
This happened in my family.
Incident 1
My father received a call from xxxx last Wednesday. The customer service officer was told that my father having an outstanding amount of RM3,800 in credit card account. My father was felt weird and called me to check. I told my father to ignore the call since he does not have any account in xxxx. But he insists me to check & gave me the number that appeared in his mobile, which is 03-2178 8888. Finally I have called to xxxx Customer Service Center & told them regarding the incident. The officer told that they have received a lot of customer complains regarding the same incident recently. They have make a police report regarding the incident. She told me NOT to believe those calls from 03-2178 8888 because the hotline is for public to call in and the same number will not appear if the call is really from xxxx’s staff.
Incident 2
My youngest brother received a call from 03-2178 8888 from xxxx yesterday & the guy want to check with my brother whether he is using the credit card to buy jewelry from Poh Kong in KLCC & the amt is about RM3, 000. My brother was wondering because he does not have any credit card from any bank. Then the guy told him that maybe there is someone using my brother identity to apply their credit card. The guy said my brother has to pay a outstanding amount of RM5, 000 which has been swiped previously even though he does not have the card. My brother was very angry, but the guy taught him to report to Bank Negara and he directly transferred the line to “Bank Negara Officer”. The “Bank Negara Officer” told that my brother has to change all the PIN number of his saving accounts since his identity has been used by somebody. “The Officer” asked my brother to go to ATM machine immediately and he will call my brother again to teach him how to change the PIN number. He told my brother not to check his account within 3 days after change the PIN number. My brother was wondering & he told the “Officer” that he only can do it by next day. At last, the “Officer” asked my brother go to the ATM machine at 10am the next day & he will call my brother. After hang up the call, my brother called me & told about the incident. I have asked my brother to ignore it & told him regarding the incident that happened to my father last week. My brother told that those “Officers” were very professional & make him felt that incident is really happen.

The message below is from a CID Officer with Polis Diraja Malaysia on HIGHWAY SAFETY ALERT.
A police officer working with the DARE program has issued this warning:
If you are driving after dark and see an on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM. This is a common gang member initiation game. The new gang member under initiation drives along with no Headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his "target". He is now required to turn around and chase that car, and shoot at or into the car in order to complete his initiation requirements.
Make sure you share this information with the drivers you know.

Girls...... take note
There was a case reported in the Star yesterday (28 Jun) about a 17 yr old girl that almost got raped near Tropicana. I won't give you the details, but it happened at 1 Utama (this wasn't mentioned) abt 10pm when she and her bf were stopped by a guy on motorcycle. Luckily, nothing terrible happened except that the bf got beaten up. Take care out there my housemate's colleague experienced this:
Forgot about the place but as she was turning in, she was suddenly blocked by this white audi in front of her. A few guys got down from the car with sticks and went towards her car. They asked her to get down, but she was smart, she managed to divert their attention and she quickly reversed her car and fled toward the main road. The white car didn't manage to follow behind coz the driver forgot to shut the car doors and reversed thus knocking down his fellow friends. She thought she was out of danger and went to her husband's office, and she was slowing down the car, a van suddenly came out of nowhere and tried to block her way. Good thing she acted fast and drove straight to the police station nearby and reported the case. And she was told that these incident was the 3rd time occurring. But the police are not doing anything about it.
So, be careful wherever you are and always be on the alert.
I don't know how true this is.
BEWARE to all u gals out there..
if u go to ss2.. and ...(section 14)..beware... coz there hev been a white van catching girls into the van then rape them then throw them out naked... so if u gals wanna go there make sure u all go in groups or wif guy please. Pass it on to your other gal pals. And guys...please be alert too and take care of the girls ok??? Take Care

This happened recently.. the H in this case works in our company.. scary
Jz to share with you all. This scam happened to our GBS colleague 2 days ago.
Hi All Colleagues & Friends, Thanks for the help on yesterday incident and finally me & my family member are safe. Appreciate alot for all of you on helping my family member to reach and verify my safety.
Here is my wife's tragic experience mail content:-
My dear Collegues,
It is my duty to create awareness to everyone to learn from my tragic experience yesterday. It was the most horrifying incident that happened to me which involved the life of my family member. I was alone in the house with my baby son when I received a call through my house phone about 2pm. So far only close family members know my house phone number.
The following incidents happened. Characters below: K (Kipnapper), M (my mum), B (my brother), H (my Husband)
In my house
1. An unclear crying voice of a man shouted in Mandarin "Something had happened to me. Please help me".
2. K took over and said "I have kipnapped H (didnt mention H's name). I have killed some people & need to leave the country. I need ransom of RM100,000 if you want to save H's life."
3. I was too panic and gave K my name and mobile number when he asked.
4. I told K that I don't have such large sum of cash and need to borrow from M up to RM10,000. K refused that I involved M as 3rd party. My personal cash from bank was only RM6,000.
5. K accepted RM6,000 and told me to withdraw from the bank. I told K that my son would be alone in the house. K told me to pass to neighbours which was impossible as they were not around.
6. K told me to call M to go over to my house to take care of my son. K stayed on line and wanted me to call M through my mobile and listened to our conversation.
7. K wanted me to stay on to my mobile and kept calling me even line was disconnected. Incoming call from K to my mobile was shown as 'Number unknown'.
8. M arrived about 30 mins later. I wrote on a short note to M but she didnt understand. I hurrily left the house without explaining further to M.
Bank
1. The journey to the bank took 30 mins with heavy traffic jam. I withdraw all my cash then inform K. K ask me look for the neareast Public Bank, CIMB or RHB.
2. I dirve another 20 min to look for Public Bank. Finally I parked inside a building after finding a car park for some time. I didnt tell K which branch I was going.
3. I lie to K that I will use the lift which my phone line may cut then I walked using the staircase and end my call with K. I quickly took the opportunity to call M and explained. I told M to contact H.
4. K asked me to find Western Union. Public Bank was closed and the guard didnt allow me to enter.
4. I ran to another building to find RHB Bank which was still opened.
5. K gave me the bank account details of a Chinese name spelled Zheng Xue Xia, address at 18 Tak Wah Street, Tsueen Wan, Hong Kong. K refused to give me more information of the account holder like colour of hair and eye, height and gender. (I purposely delayed the time). He got frustrated easily if he thought I was not cooperative.
6. Finally M managed to contact H who was having training and mobile was put on silent mode during that time.
7. B looked for me in RHB Bank. I quickly switched off my mobile after knowing that H was safe. The funds was not transferred.
Police Station
1. B took me to the nearest police station.
2. After recording my case, police said since I didnt lose any cash and H was safe, they will keep my file (hopefully will receive fresh clue for investigation)
Dear Colleagues, I hope everyone will inform your closed ones about my experience. We all know about such fake cases from the press but in such circumstances, I was alone and couldnt control my emotions. The 'fear for life' of my husband overtook my sensible thinking.

Ransom for fake kidnaps
KUALA LUMPUR: Police have warned the public to be on the alert for a syndicate that preys on families by claiming their children have been kidnapped.
Three such cases - two of which had the families pay their callers ransom totalling RM40,000 - have been reported to the city police.
City CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the “kidnappers” would contact parents on their mobile phones and inform them that their child had been kidnapped and then demand a ransom.
“The syndicate members will be very adamant and do not hang up until the parent has paid the money. We believe the syndicate members obtained details of the victims through random phone interviews earlier,” said SAC II Ku.
The first incident took place on March 31 when the “kidnappers” claimed that they had abducted an 18-year-old boy.
They initially demanded RM60,000 but settled for RM12,000 after negotiations.
However, the payment was not made as the father noticed that his son was at home.
The second was on April 2 when the “kidnappers” contacted another family and demanded RM100,000 for the release of their 13-year-old son. After much negotiations, the “kidnappers” settled for RM35,000.
“However the parent only found out that their child was not kidnapped after transferring RM20,000 to the kidnapper’s account,” said SAC II Ku.
Later the same day, another woman fell prey to the scam when she banked in RM20,000 into an account number she had been given only to discover later that her daughter had never been kidnapped.
SAC II Ku urged the public, especially the Chinese community, not to fall prey for such scams and to contact the police.
5. Beware of the ‘push pocket’ scam.
Received : Saturday, October 3, 2009
Sender : The Star Daily
PETALING JAYA: A new type of scam has supposedly emerged where small items like mobile phones or some money are pushed into the pockets of unsuspecting persons who are then accused of theft.
The scam, called “push pocket,” has been hotly discussed in the Internet and has been the topic of various e-mails and blogs.
The discussions also pointed out that KL International Airport (KLIA) was a major scene of the crime.
The authorities however have denied the existence of such crimes in KLIA.
According to Daily Chilli, The Star’s new online portal, a perpetrator would slip a mobile phone or wallet with a few ringgits into the victim’s pocket.
The perpetrator would later accuse the victim of stealing.
Another person would then show up and claim to have seen the victim “committing the crime.”
The cheats would then pull the victim aside to discuss a settlement. The victim would pay up to avoid a ruckus or police involvement.
There were even stories of victims languishing in jails as the perpetrators managed to convince the police to arrest the unwary travellers.
The usual targets are said to be those from the West or Middle East.
An article in Trip Advisor (www.tripadvisor.com), a travel website which also has articles written by travellers, warns tourists of the scam at KLIA.
The scam is also discussed in several online forums and there are both believers and sceptics.
The authorities however have denied the existence of such crimes.
Home Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Mahmud Adam said he had yet to hear of such a scam.
A Malaysian Airports Holdings Berhad spokesperson said there were no cases of “push pocket” reported at both the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and the KLIA in recent years.
“The airports make public announcements to warn travellers not to leave their luggage unattended.
“However, there are no announcements advising travellers to be wary of pick-pockets or ‘push pockets.’
“It has never happened at any of our airports,” said the spokesperson.
The police beat base at KLIA/LCCT reported that there were no reports on “push pockets.”
“Push pocket” is being seen as Malaysia’s version of Thailand’s “Zig-Zag” scheme.
In July this year, the Bangkok Post reported that Thai Transport Minister Sophon Zarun had ordered Airports of Thailand to step up measures at Suvarnabhumi and other airports to prevent extortion scams.
Reports said passengers were being detained every month in the duty-free area on suspicion of shoplifting.
They are then held by the police until they paid large sums of money to buy their freedom.
More to come.....
